It’s amazing that nature can spawn a storm that seemingly has a personal grudge against Florida. Fay seems determined to drench every square inch of Florida in it’s rains. Or maybe, our sunny peninsula put in a personal request to big momma Nature to help ease the drought we have been in here in the south for the past couple of years and this is Mom’s way of saying, “yeah, I got the message.”

The most important thing when going to get a haircut is consistency. I have been going to a Supercuts close to my house for the past couple of years. There’s a lady there who usually cuts my hair, and when she is busy I try to wait for her (when time permits). Sometimes I have one of the other people there cut my hair, usually when I am being impatient or when my regular lady isn’t there, and they usually do a good enough job. But the regular girl is consistent. She has left some uneven lines, cut it a little too short or left it a little too long, but she has never botched my head. Two days ago I went to my Supercuts and asked for a haircut.

Mighty Muggs, you heard of ‘em? No? Well, that’s probably because they are toys. More specifically, they are vinyl toys made from 100% recycled awesome. Seriously, that’s their slogan. And as of today, my collection is up to seven.

My wife and I have been re-watching our DVD collection of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. As we make our way through season five of seven I am realizing a couple of things: one, the show is really good and two, I don’t remember most of the episodes from the first time I watched them a couple of years ago.
